Compressed air is a source of many contamination’s while compressing. We are sure that; Pressurized air coming from compressors is not suitable for separation process yet. That’s why, pressurized air must be cleaned, separated until free from contaminants completely.
On the other hand, all other PSA manufacturer offer to their customers refrigeration type air dryer after then air compressor. Refrigerated dryers typically provide an +3?C to +10?C pressure dew point, at 7 barg (100 psig) the water vapour content in compressed air is 1170 mg/m3 . That mean you have very high water vapor load in your system. (this vapour will be absorbed by zeolite quickly) Zeolites have very sensitive to water vapour and it will damage to zeolites (especially bottom side of column).
