DIVACAL-C TABLET – Use calcitriol as directed:
PO- An initial dose of 1 to 2 mcg (0.02 to 0.04 mcg/kg) given three times per week, or roughly every other day, is advised. It is available in tablets and capsules that can be taken orally with or without food.

Dry mouth, muscle soreness, increased thirst, appetite loss, vomiting, a metallic taste in the mouth, upset stomach, constipation, and problematic urination are typical adverse effects of calcitriol.

What should I do if I forget a dose?
If you miss a dosage, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, omit the missed dose and resume taking your medication at the regular time. Never take additional dosages or two doses at once. Do not stop using it or adjust the dosage.
