JOINT PRESERVATION
Joint preservation is an emerging field in orthopaedics that evolved primarily in response to the limitations in joint replacement technology. Orthopaedic surgeons have turned to joint preservation as a way to prevent or delay the onset of osteoarthritis or other degenerative conditions affecting the joints, particularly in young patients. If you understand what pathomorphology you have to address, joint preservation can be a very efficient procedure to prevent or at least delay osteoarthritis (OA) and make patients have much less pain.
