TOOTH BRUSHING MODEL – The primary mechanical method for removing dental plaque is brushing your teeth, which helps to guard against oral diseases.
Throughout the world, brushing your teeth is the oral hygiene procedure that is most frequently advised and used. Brushing technique should also be demonstrated to the general public, just like all other fundamental skills.  Untrained people most frequently employ a horizontal scrubbing motion to clean the occlusal and buccal/lingual surfaces. [6] It is possible to control plaque effectively by teaching people how to use more sophisticated toothbrushing procedures.The Roll technique, the Charters and Bass methods, and horizontal scrubbing have all been offered as strategies to systematise the toothbrushing practice. Recent studies comparing toothbrushing techniques don’t exist. The initial research was often conducted over a short period of time and did not examine gingival health or show that one technique was consistently superior.  In 1954, the Bass technique[8] was first explained. Due to its simplicity and emphasis on the location of the bristles in the sulcus, it has over the past ten years evolved into the technique that is most usually suggested. The fundamental idea is to move the brush methodically across the teeth while adjusting the bristle tips to the gingival margin in order to reach the supragingival plaque.
