An ISO 9001:2000 certified critical care equipment company, AKAS, manufactures world-class Drug Delivery devices like Volumetric Infusion and Syringe Infusion pumps for use in hospitals and medical institutions. Founded in 1996 by two engineers inside a humble garage in a town called Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, today AKAS has grown exponentially and exports to 15+ countries throughout India and South Asia, where it consistently exceeds customer experience. Currently the largest manufacturer, the company aims to be the leader in Syringe and Infusion pumps with two factories, one in Tiruchirapalli and one in Chennai and comprises a team of Medical, Engineering and R&D experts who continuously challenge themselves to offer products par excellence. In the last 24 years since inception, we have over 10000+ customers and over 50000+ products installed. AKAS employs over 200 employees and 50% of them are engineers. AKAS is fully dedicated to improve ICU care and patient care in the area of drug delivery and fluid management. AKAS Infusions is now launching a Urine Output Monitoring device and Fluid balance Monitoring in 2020.
